Last Wednesday (14 March 2018) I had the opportunity to speak at the Go London User Group. I told the story of how Resource Guru started using Go to solve some severe performance problems we encountered while building our time-off management features.

Go was an easy first additional language to add to our stack, and allowed us to smoothly transition from a Ruby-only service to a polyglot service oriented architecture. It’s been a fun journey!
